なかでもラミン・カリムルーさんとケイリー・アン・ヴォーヒーズさんが

演じて歌った『ウエスト・サイド・ストーリー』や『オペラ座の怪人』は

最高のパフォーマンスでした

二人の掛け合いの歌のデュエットはたいへん美しく

ケイリー・アン・ヴォーヒーズさんのソプラノ・ヴォイスは

その美しさゆえに恋や人生の切なさや儚さを訴えて心から感動させられました

West Side Story and Phantom of the Opera, performed by Ramin Karimloo and Kaley Ann Voorhees, were especially mesmerizing and among the best stage acts I have ever seen.

The chase they showed in duets was just breathtaking, and the soprano of Ms. Voorhees was so beautiful that it powerfully conveyed how painful and ephemeral love and life can be. It was truly electrifying experience.

そして幸いなことに、この来日公演の最終日に劇場の隣のホテルで

偶然にケイリー・アン・ヴォーヒーズさんとバッタリ出会いました

そこで少しお話ができたのですが

「あなたのソプラノがたいへん美しいので、今日で三回も観に来ているのですよ」と言いますと

彼女は驚いた表情で「ありがとう」と何度も言っていました

彼女はアメリカ人らしく明るく率直で、たいへん話しやすい人柄の女性で

この時から大ファンになってしまいました

千秋楽に良い思い出が作れて本当によかったですが

また日本に来られる日を心待ちにしています

I was blessed with the fortune to run into Ms. Voorhees in the hotel right next to the theater on the final day of her performance in Japan.

We had a brief chat, and when I told her that her beautiful soprano has brought me to the theater for the third time that day, she was quite surprised and thanked me for many times.

Cheerful, open and easy to talk to, she was a very American lady, and I quickly became a big fan of hers.

I was very fortunate to encounter a memorable moment on the final day, and am looking forward to the day when the show comes back to Japan once again.
